Sgt Ex

Well, it's been almost a month since any updates, and guess what? Still nothing really.

Only real update is Ex does not fit into the garage. I will have to remove the tires to get it in. The car hauler is a long time away from reliably towing the rig anywhere, but it's at my house too. D is still at dads, awaiting this winter, when it will find its way over here once it has a front axle again.

Also thinking of going in a different direction as far as a trail rig goes...

New doors are on, garage is getting better, but SGT Ex still doesn't fit, so I'm outside working on it. Going to replace the radiator, change out the bent link, paint the doors, check all the fluids, and hopefully weld in steps on the sliders.

So what's the different direction? How far is it from fitting in the garage?

72 Chevy blazer. Won't be for a little while though. Gotta finish D first. Still not certain though. Just thinking about it.

About 6-10"

just make the garage door another 12" taller or drop the roof on the ex for a lowrider look.

Nah. Just work on it in the driveway for the little stuff, pull the wheels and tires for the big stuff

Man, I thought you said you had a shop? That's not a shop, that's a shed :thefinger:

my garage is 20x24 and i still have to swap to "rollers" to get it in and out

I don't feel so bad now.

hopefully when the ground thaw's the wife will " allow " me to put up a bigger garage. it does get all of here repairs done relatively cheaply.

24 x 48 with 10' doors :thefinger:

I think mines 25x35 but still 8' doors... cant even get my stock f350 in on 35s

Well, it's painted and all the guts inside the doors are switched over

Also decided to paint the sliders just to see what it looks like. What's your opinion?

Picked up a bender today. Smokin deal, but it's got a 1 3/8" die. After Harlan, there is a lot of tedious little stuff that needs to be done.
