Get the Focus, even a ZX3 has enough room in the back with the seats down, unless you have a great dane or something.
I love my ZX3 for commute, saves my Rangers for fun and work.

I have 2 Jeeps. They have never broke on me. Never let me down. All I put in them is gas to go and go and go!!! FORD 'Fix Or Repair Daily' or my favorite: 'Far Out Rubber Duck'.....lol

I like having the cargo space to keep the dog in the back. I HATE dog hair and paw prints on my seats! lol. Plus I want something with four doors for a *ahem* carseat. Easier to get it in that way than with a coupe.

I'd love an explorer, but I can't find any around here with low rust that don't have insane miles.

i can get my hands on a 1st gen explorer for around 2k.. no rust. around 160,000 miles on it. runs good. interior looks new, body needs some minor work. if i had 2k i'd pick it up.

my brother got his 93 explorer 4x4 for $1200.. needed some mechanical work, but nothing major. think it turned out to need an IAC and coil pack. only one rust spot on it..

Honestly I would rather buy a 1200 dollar explorer than a 3500 dollar focus, then I could pay off one of my loans.

wish i could find one for $1200 like he did. i'd build it slowly w/ slo-vo as my model... if i had the cash of course.

and keep my b2 clean as it is, with the axle swaps still on 33's... for a dd/ww.

there's a mexican guy that flips cars down the street from me, and he's always finding deals.

he bought a 02 ranger, ext cab, 4.0, 5 speed for like $3100 the other day.. he won't sale it to me tho. i was gonna go get a loan. its on some buckshots, and is clean as can be inside. outside has some trail pinstriping but nothing major. and it runs great now that he's replaced the fuel filter and did a tune up... you just gotta be looking, be in the right place at the right time, and having cash helps a lot

he's the guy that sold my bro his ex.
