Hey Gang,
I recently had an ongoing issue with my door lock assembly not functioning correctly and intermittently telling me "Door Ajar" when the door was closed (drove me absolutely crazy...)
The switch was malfunctioning (as I've read tends to happen over time) and the little plastic cover for the lock mechanism became unaligned and would sometimes lock me out of the vehicle...
I decided to take things apart and attempt to replace it with a "part that matched my vehicle". But, alas, this was not the correct part.. It lacked a few of the anchor points for my particular model.
The correct part I am looking for is :
This part has since been discounted by Ford and I cannot find a replacement...
Anyone ever run into this issue and know where I can find this part?
This is for my 2003 Ranger 4x4 XLT SuperCab (2-door) w/ Power Windows, Power Locks, Etc.
