My credo
A properly suspensioned Ranger can be safely airborne for up to 4 seconds at a time! =:O
Trusty XL 4x4 is a '99, but only 88k miles, ALL of its life in hot (and mostly humid) places... figure the factory lube just dried up or melted away... or the adjustable seat-back tilt-joint is RUSTED?

Annoying as heck, squeak-squeak on every little bump, or any time I shift in the seat... I'm not a big load, 175 lbs. with all my duds on...

WHAT kind of lube do I use, and "WHERE do it go?" :icon_confused:

My buckets do the same thing. I may have to go investigate. The problem with lubing any of it is using something that won't end up everywhere. Apparently silicone spray is the recommended thing.

I've used silicone spray to remedy the door-latch/dome-light combo switch issue, and also the door exterior key-lock getting stiff... I guess it would be "heavy" enough for an infrequently-used joint like the seatback adjuster... hmmm... for completeness I will go bounce around in my passenger seat to see if it squeaks too... and hope the neighbors don't call the straight-jacket crew. :icon_twisted:

In search of lube-points, I guess I'm in search of a "cutaway anatomy chart" of the super-common 60/40 bench-bucket masterpiece! :icon_welder:
