Screen Underneath The Speedo And Tach

I put a post really similar to this in the Audio section, I know double posts are frowned upon but I really need some help. I have a 1998 Ford Ranger XLT. I'm wondering what the little screen below the speedo and tach is suppposed to show

If it is, then it don't work. My radio screen doesn't wokr either so are they on the same circuit?

Sorry again for the two threads, I just figured I'd cover my bases and post in both areas.

Sounds like the spot where (i'm assuming you have a 5 spd) the automatic gauge would be, example: P R OD D 2 1 something along those lines.
Also if you have digital mileage, that could be it also,but i'am assuming your mileage thing is with the speedo cluster.

yeah it is for PRND321, if you have an auto.
