"Save The RBV" Wristbands

I got to thinking, how many of us have gone to the junkyard only to be saddened at all the decent looking ranger's/BII's that are destined for the crusher? Thats right, all of us. (lol) But I was thinking, copying the idea of the livestrong wristbands, how about we make wristbands that say "Save the RBV"? This could be a TRS "exclusive" thing, that only is available to TRS members. But I would need to know someone who would make such a wristband and be able to sell them/distribute them for like a dollar a wristband, with all profits going to keeping this site up and running (or Jims choice lol) . What do ya think Jim? feedback for my idea appreciated

I really don't think this will work out in the long run, JUST MY OPINION, I think a ( key chain ) would be better.

I hate to say this BUT a couple other people already mentioned it about MANLyNESS or what ever OR just fricking remembering to put the damn thing on,what about chaffing on the wrist etc etc.

I believe if you could afford to pay a focus group to come up with some FACTS/un biased opinions about what is a better idea to catch on it would be a ( key chain ) and not a ( rubber wrist band ) sorry man, JUST KEEPING IT REAL!!

KEY CHAIN FTW!! Even just a simple hard plastic one with the site logo. I'd run one. If made a bonus for becoming a contributer, i'll contribute. If not, I'll buy. Same goes for the wristband. Would be neat on my hurst plate.

hmm a little quick looking around and key chains would be comprible in prices to some wristbands but thats all dependent upon what kind/brand/quality/quanty is ordered on both of them. im open to key chains its just a different media to get that same message and point across. maybe theres a way to implment both a key chain and a wristband?

one side of key chain be the normal TRS logo with the web URL on the bottom. on the flip side would be "Save the RBV" or "Viva La Ranger". I like Viva La Ranger. They've gotta be quality for someone to sign off on it. The keychains given out by like radio stations and other places would be perfect for our needs. You know...hard plastic approx 1x2" then on the inside would be the white paper with hte logo and text.

whast about both "TRS" and "Viva La Ranger"

They charge an extra .25 cents on average for wording on the back. Right now the cheapest I've found ( I'll keep looking ) is $120 for 60 with either SAVE THE RBV or LONG LIVE THE RBV. I would make them from hand,but I do not have any stencils to paint on the wording and that itself wouldn't last to long.

Ok. I went to a site my wife and others use for Autism Awareness stuff they have made and decided I like the keychain idea better too. So I went to the site and made a keychain design and think it came out good.Obviously it's up to Jim on this one. Here is the picture of the design. Post your thoughts.

The thing about a keychain is that it's either in the ignition, where only you and your passengers can see it, or it's in your pocket if you're not in the truck. A wristband can be viewed by anyone at any time, no matter where you're at or what you're doing. From an advertising perspective, a wristband would be a much more effective way of promoting TRS.

I agree, but the problem is. Most people end up losing the wrist bands pretty fast.We can always do both though.

I think the key chain is a great idea, too. I would definitely get at least one.

I haven't really looked at the sites yet, but having them made definitely wouldn't be a problem....
