I met up with mowgli and some of the ranger guys in San Antonio once, but haven't heard anything back from them since... I think a couple of them sold their rangers.

That just means somebody else will have to step up and set up a meet

Well if no one know of any other rbv associated clubs/groups i guess ill have to start up my own for san antonio.... If you would at least try to come tell me and ill start what ever paper work that would be needed

I was actually just in San Antonio this past weekend. (I actually was headed to Sabinal.)

If y'all strike up a meet, I think I can make a weekend over there still.

For the record, there's a very solid & active group of RBV's based in Austin. A few guys are here in Houston, too. Demon4x4 is mostly Explorers, and a few Rangers, including myself. I just joined last year. These guys love their Explorers, and do everything from motor swaps & SAS to recreating the Gen I Jurassic Park Explorer.

If the TRS Banner makes it's way over to Texas, we should have a central meet & greet and sign it!

EDIT: RobertC1024 is 30 minutes south of Austin, and although he's busy, he might make it out, too. Awesome guy. Last saw him maybe 2 years ago.

What is the name or website of the RBV group in Austin? I just got back into the Ranger game after like 10 years!

I would be interested in meeting up to see other Rangers.

I know a couple Rangers that i meet up with at a car show off 35&topperwein RD at Biff Buzbys. Then there is a truck meet for a truck club off 1604&Helotes exit at the Wal-Mart. Both are on Fridays and start around 6-7 and don't usually end until whenever everyone starts leaving. Both just ask for no one to do anything stupid.

If anyone is on Facebook and wants to keep up with meets also go join the group Modified Ranger Network. We are in the works of trying to find a mutual meeting spot for people from S.A, Austin, Houston and Dallas for maybe a meet some time this summer if we get enough people.
