Salamander heater question....

My brother has one of those in his greenhouse to keep the plants happy over the winter, I think his greenhouse for the starts is 8x12 and it works good in there, I think this is the third winter?

Jesus.. how big is your shed? Those things put out some serious heat lol.
no matter how big the shed, you will allways regret not getting the next size bigger... (10x 20 for me...)

Ok, I'll bump that up, my brother bought a spare of those diesel heaters when he did the greenhouse and he just put that one in the garage a couple days ago (24x30 I think) and had it on low and it was around 50 in there when it was just above freezing outside, no smell or anything just like a little furnace... pretty spiffy really especially for like $50 when he got it, they're up to $80 now apparently...

I wish mine would hurry up and cave in. (Its still solid lol)...cause id use the slab and add to it for something bigger and not have to fight the city on permits

If mine caved in, everything would have to be replaced. The slab was an obvious DIY by a WWII vet. It's all split and cracked and the "foundation" is a row of laid cinderblock. I seriously doubt there is any kind of proper base under there.

Mines got a nice slab. From what the old neighbor told me before he passed (hes lived in the same house literally his whole life) the shed was built in the mid 70's
