i dont want to know the results, im not in a position right now to put new rings in the motor anyway... so im just gonna drive it. it only has 65k on it, so it should do 100k more easy.

I don't understand - knowing if it's good or bad doesn't change the facts, so why not actually diagnose the problem?

It appears that you have the Duratec engine...they are different animals than the Lima 2.3...but blowby is blowby...I fought with my engine and drove it for nearly two years like that...put over 100,000 Km on it...but did clear it up a bit when I changed the head and the head gasket...as well as cleaning out the PCV system from the canister right through to the carb passages...
