Just attempting to flex with my unmodified IFS, lol! Wanted to see how close my stock tires get to the fenders, gonna upgrade to 33"s after a 1.5"ish torsion crank and shackles in the back. Hope I don't need to trim. Never tried it before. Heard all kinds of creaking noises i've never heard, it was neat. :yahoo:

I dont like to be critiqueing other people's stuff, but that is a bit sad. She's stiff. But I'm sure You'll get her into a bit better shape as far as flex goes. She's purty

Looks like you've got about 2" of travel on the front. woohoo for SLA ;missingteeth;

Clean truck tho!

thanks, of course its sad, hence the title :icon_rofl:

FYI when you crank the torsions they will get stiffer=less flex.

yea, I know, but i don't do much wheeling involving much suspension travel, mainly just running through mudholes around town, etc. the more clearance is more valuable to my wheelin' needs, if you will =P

Oh come on! You've got at least another 3/8" left in there. You need to find a bigger (ant) hill :icon_twisted:

Sigh....

So whats that axle for? An SAS in the future plans?

had a bent axle shaft, my buddy and i took the shafts out of that axle and threw it on the axle on the truck, so, now my wheels don't wobble anymore!

maybe a SAS in the future, but thats far beyond my imagination and skill level right now, would be awesome though!

yeah find you a bigger hill and youll get more out of her.

really? more steep? and does it loosen with time or will it stay stiff like it is?

also, the truck was a virgin to the trails before me and to my knowledge its done nothing in the way of flexing like that. the most maybe was somebody accidentally jumping a curb, lol, brought this truck from the city to where it should be :headbang:
