was reading a thing on chainsaws an its showed a sparkplug that was used and had light grey burning on it and said that was cause from to much air, well i noticed the ones on my truck are like that. i have and cone air filter on it. should i just replace the stock filter, does the chainsaw idea apply to all engins?

Yes it applies to all sparkplugs, no your aftermarket filter should NOT cause this to happen. The whole point of those filters is to allow more air to flow...and fooling the computer into adding more fuel to the mix. So it SHOULD be balancing itself out.

Post a pic of your plugs. Most plugs will get a slight gray hue after some miles are put on them.
