RPM going up

I have a 1999 Ford Ranger. In the past two weeks Th RPM going up when i stop or sometime driving. Please i need help

Clean the IAC valve

is a common problem

yea idle air controller is on the back of ur tb. let it sit in cleaner. i had same prob not too long ago

I've been having the same problem latly and first thought it was a froze throttle. But then i figgured it was the IAC. Will MAF cleaner work for cleaning the iac. I just bought the bottle and hate to see it just sit on the shelf.

DO NOT use carb cleaner on a MAF! use MAF cleaner to clean a MAF. I made that mistake and paid for it.
