my truck recently has been idling rough and when driving it feels very sluggish compared to what it use to be. The plugs, wires, dist cap &rotor, coil, and ignition module are new. Aslo the IAC is fairly new too. Could it be a bad throttle position sensor or map sensor?

mine did that once an my father in law told me to chock the wheels and start it an then unplug the throttle position sensor he said if the motor didn't change then it was bad if it changed it was good...i don't if that will help u or not but its just a redneks 2 cents! lol good luck

mine is doing the same thing - really rough idle, feels like it lacks power. I don't know how much power it's supposed to have though, because I bought it this way. It also cranks for several seconds before it starts, and is significantly worse in a hot start after sitting for a half hour or so. No check engine light, no codes stored.

In the last week I've changed the cap, rotor, plugs and wires to no avail. I did find an exhaust leak where the y-pipe bolts to the left side manifold.
