Good evening all, just had questions about rollpan bumpers. If I installed a steel rollpan onto my ranger, just bolt on not weld/molded in, would I be able to keep my factory hitch and spare tire?
If it matters, I have a SuperCab 2010 XLT with a 6ft bed, and this is the rollpan I would like to get. Also, while I'm here asking my question, is AirbagIt a legit site? Thanks all.
rollpan Questions

I'm sure it would leave the spare in place. The trailer hitch? I guess I would question why clean it all up with a roll pan only to have a big ugly trailer hitch hanging down.

Thanks for the reply, and I guess you're right, not like i'm gonna use a street truck for towing 😂 . I think I got the answer for my spare tire problem though, I think I have to ditch it, because the rollpan bolts up right over the spare tire access location. Probably good anyways bc my spare is almost scraping the ground.

I was thinking you could put a hole behind the licence plate and still run the spare up and down.

I will add that I've never put a roll pan on any of my trucks... so it's all a guess.

i have seen that too. they have a fold down license plate where the hitch comes through at

Thanks for the replies, I don’t know if investing in a fold down hitch would be worth it for me for the 0 times a year I tow 😅, but I saw a rollpan design with a cutout for the spare tire access. I mean even if I bought one without a cutout notch I could just make a hole.

Is airbagIt a good site/vendor?

Some time has passed, thought I would update this thread in case anyone needs the info…
I could have kept the spare tire and the hitch. I ditched both of them anyways though. The spare tire carrier doesn’t stick out far enough to cause fitment issues, but I don’t have a spare tire anymore.

This is right, I didn’t think it would look that bad until I test fitted it. But if you wanted to keep it, it would fit.

I prefer the full size spare tire that will work in any wheel position, and sadly enough, it will not be accessible in 95% of the on the go situations where you will need an accessible spare.
The only accessible place I have for now is pushed under the toolbox
In order to haul a full load in the truck bed I must remove the toolbox and put the spare behind the seat :/
