this is kilometers eh... 50s not that fast (especially when thats what the recommended speed for the corner)

This statement is the biggest FAIL I have read in quite some time... in winter, you ALWAYS go slower than recommended speed.

And the chances of actually winning that suit against the Dept. of Roads or whatever you have up there is very low...

it was on a road that is normally an 80 the 50 is a yellow sgn which means it isnt the ideal conditions its for poor conditions.

And more than likely, that sign means that you should only go 50 around it in IDEAL conditions... in winter you should go even slower.

Not to chew your ass here, but I'm just pointing out a few things... and like someone said earlier, the mentality of lying and saying you hit a deer is just plain dishonest and you should just suck it up and tell what actually happened...

im not planning on sueing. and ya big deal i know i screwed up but its not like i can go back in time and tell myself that that spot was icy and yes it was only that spot. it the shade just over a river. rest of the roads are dry. we have all of 2" of snow where i am its been a very mild winter. and as for this hole thing with the deer i did tell everyone on here and everyone i know the truth that story was only for the cop because i just had to pay lawers a bunch of $ to get outta other shit and i cant get a reckless ticket because ill lose my job and my liscence.

anyways after saying all this the guy who stopped to help me yesterday morning just happend to be an off duty tow truck driver he just called and has a 93 ranger he got for scrap with a good cab im going out to see it and hopfully bring it home. ill gets pics of everything tommorow when i borrow a camera

You should have reported it , as long as you have collision you'd be alright. You likely would not be at fault due to road conditions and your truck would be repaired or you'd get a pay out. May I ask which road you are on?

3rd line of simcoe county and i dont have collision i have basic it doesnt cover it.
and if i reported it the trucks a write off so im screwed.

and to mudding b3000 ya i work in barrie but live by alliston ive seen ur truck barly lifted with tires sticking out like 3 inch?

OH! i completly gapped! i went and saw this 93 ranger its 2wd. the guy stopped the day i rolled to see if i was ok turns out he does scrap cars for fun. he called me as i got off work today and says i have this ranger come take a look see if you want it.
so i was already pumped becasue triple m auto wreckrs in barrie (on tiffen st) says they want $1500 for a cab.... thats right $1500.... i bought the truck for $800 but anyways i just got back from seeing it and i ask the guy what he wants for his cab. and he says $350 so i said do u want my rolled one to scrap and he goes ya sure take the 93 away and just bring me back what you dont use and your old stuff from the 97 and we'll call it even!!!!!!


YES! i got a whole 93 ranger in damn good shape for my old busted crap! i love living in the country
