My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
Do they bolt to the frame or what?

I gotta replace the stupid flimsy China 'plate' bumper on the back of the truck.. I don't want to pay 500$ for a new stepside bumper.. and would rather not run a non stepside bumper so I'm thinking about just going with a roll pan.

Whats the dealio?

My guess would be body adhesive if it's on the 21 Ranger.

I got rid of that thing months ago and bought a bronco.. keep up wouldja?

Very utilitarian.. not as much 'street truck chic' as I'd like though lol

I thought you were going for cheap beater vibes.

I thought the roll pans had a lip and screwed to the bed.

Most of them I saw back in the day were done like he said, or were welded/glassed in.

Oh no. I definitely want that street truck chic.. budget just relegated me to a cheap beater 😋

Street truck chic???

:ban:

You should think more like rat rod ish.

That's NOT a winter beater...

You should start looking for one of those soon.

Mabey I'll get one for next winter 😋

I thought the caddy was supposed to be the winter beater anyway?

That was my intent.. It just felt like too big of a gamble whether or not I'd be able to have it ready in time or not. It needs brakes & lines, shocks, tires, body filler panels.. I feel like the Ranger was a cheaper way out even with the little bit of work it needs.

I'm questioning the health of its 307 too.. I almost pulled the trigger on a low mile chevy 350 to swap into it.. but.. too much other crap to deal with all last minute and rushed and stuff. Didn't want something else to stress over.
