roll bar cover


I like the way that looks.
 
got it painted up and added a couple things to help seal it up to keep as much rain out as i can

is the boots on the roll bar for the stink pipes on a roof? lol thats a great idea

lol yep walked around menards for half an hour trying to figure out how to help seal it when i saw those =) im the ranger macgyver im "Racgyver" LOL:icon_thumby::icon_idea:

ok so i got home today and started cutting some plywood to fill the idea i got on my 20 minute ride home from work this is gonna be clamped to the side rails from the cab to the edge its only 2' and from there to the tailgate ill just shorten my cover so i will still have the ability to open about 4' of my bed if i need to haul some tall stuff

i used angle iron from an old bed frame i had to make the supports just gotta figure out how to clamp it to the bed rails

gonna cover it with something waterproof and get some type of boot deal to seal up around the bars

hopefully i can come into some diamond plate to make it out of at a later date
what do u guys think?
u could make a tool box out of that if u wanted to. put a door on the front or top something like that make it out of diamond plate like u said:icon_welder:

Dude - that looks promising. Where's the diamond plate?

lack of money as i said before i really hope i can get some diamond plate befor to long though it will be awesome with that and a lot eaiser to seal up too
