Depends on what count you live in down in Tennessee, firefighters could run them up to about 2 years ago, I can't run them while driving, but I use them when I'm at an accident or a roadside fire for my protection and the protection of my guys. I'm a county captain and city fire chief, so they don't really say anything, as long as I don't run them while driving to calls

That's lame. Can't run them while driving trying to get to someone's house that could be on fire? What were thinking?
