I say get the 17's it will look better with lo pro tires rather than all that sidewall rubber in my opinion. :icon_thumby:

I vote for 17's, but if you are going for an old school look, the 15's would look more appropriate. Still the 17's get my vote.

nope, cragar dont make a 16'' lol.

im going old skool, but with a modern twist, so the 17's fit the bill.

the 15" would look oldskool, besides it wouldnt affect the ride comfort and acceleration, but with a v8 that wouldnt be a problem, burning 17" tires isnt cheap tho, u know when the burnout bug cames in :D
besides fatty 15" tires would look more hot rod

15". easier to find and cheaper. taller rubber = better ride. we all know that when you get this truck goin, your going to burn the tires off it.

well i do have my original 14'' meats for that. but i guess your right. maybe i will just do the 15''s

what do you think is the biggest tire i could get on the back? im thinking a 245/60/15 but id love to get bigger on there. let me know, the library doesnt say. thanks

once i saw a ranger wearing 255 on 7" wide rims, it was 70 tall, it was a 3gen, but maybe they fit yours.
he said that even 265's fitted without issues on those rims, with the 70 height. u coudl try some 255/60-65:icon_thumby:
are u going for black tires or rwl? i just love the look of white letters on trucks tires:D

my bro had a car with 17", and that thing had a hard ride, besides low profile tires wear faster than the normal profile ones, he learned that the hard way, he had to replace the front tires very soon cuz of the:3gears: it was a modded mitsu mirage:D

yeah i want the raised white lettering, like what is on it in the pic.

if i did 17''s i woulda done the blackwall.

i think ill just do 15''s i like the 14''s that were on it. so the 15''s should look sick, nice old skool look.

now that with some b.f goodrich t/a radials, and it dont get any better than that.

id love to get some 265/60/15's on there but ill see. i think 245's would be more realistic.

yeah low profilers dont have rwl, and 245's would look cool too, but picture this: double exhaust coming to the rear bumper with chrome tips, the v8 rumbling, and some fat a$$ tires like 255:cool:

you do have a valid point wrecking crew, 17's would make it kinda ricerish, just cuz most streat cars now adays have bigger rimms, 15's would def be a better ride. and possiby better mileage.
