Rhino Liner/Line X

what ever you do, do not use duplicolor on any thing you like... it will shrink in the heat of the sun and flake off,,,,, i used it in my bed and its almost gone just by flakeing out.....

I didn't say use the paint... I said use the prep spray that cleans the surface for paint. That won't cause anything he paints to shrink... and besides, you probably didn't prep the area very well if it shrank and flaked off. there was probably stuff underneath of it.

anyways, you should always test your skills on some scrap metal first to perfect your process!!!

don't jump head first into the project and end up having to strip everything down... it's a waste of cash and time.

try a rocker panel first or your tail gate on the inside where it could be useful...

i wasn't saying don't use the prep stuff i was just saying don't wast your time with the paint from them.........

So duplicolors paint is garbage, what about their spray on bedliner??

what's it recommend? I figure a roller would probably do fine... just tape it off real well.

Exact same thing happened to me, with color matched duplicolor cans. It sucks to see all your hard work peel right off your truck, huh?

if your doing it any were you care about the ground then i recommend covering the ground to...... the stuff gets everywhere.......

#1greenranger, can you get some pics of your tailgate and how it looks with the bedliner??? and where do you get herculiner???
