Rhino line wheels?

The guys at the shops around here would jack it up around the bead. Apparently you have to tell them to be careful with your rims. They've messed the paint up on my pony rims.

I've seen shops carve the chrome off of some friends brand new rims. I'd hate to think what they could do to bedliner.

Yep, I've seen that too. When I belly ached to them about mine, they told me they had some protectors they could have used. A lot of good that's going to do after the fact. It seems like a common sense thing to me.

It's only until i have enough money to get new rims....but it seems like plasti dip wouldn't stand through as much as bed liner or undercoating...

It's a lot easier to just use regular old steel or copper BB's, you don't have to use anywear near as many to get the same amount of weight.

Well I guess if your rim is bedlined, sure. I'd use the plastic ones in a regular rim though.

Honestly 9oz of 20g BB's only took up somewhere around 1cup. It wasn't bad at all. They sell them by the box full, using a lot of them isn't an issue.

I don't understand how it works either, but the GMC has never driven smoother.

In my head though it doesn't seem like it should work. It would seem that if a tire is out of balance, the heavy side would be the farthest from the center of rotation, and all the BBs would get stuck there, making it even heavier, and worse than it was before.

But for whatever reason that's not the way it works, it fixes it instead

if a shop damages your (nice) rims i would make them replace it.

dont rhino line them, they will form bubbles inbetween the liner and wheel collecting moisture, have them basecoat/clearcoated. have at least 3 good coats of flexed clear and they should hold up pretty decent.
