reverse but no drive

hey guys i have a 99 explorer with 5r55e auto trans and 4.0 liter, it just all of a sudden wont engage into drive gears but goes into reverse no problem , any help would be great, was fine before this

Either the valve body gasket blew out , which is very common , or you've had a mechanical/hydraulic failure such as failed forward clutch, one way clutch.

is this an easy fix or should i be very worried/?

by the way how high does your truck rev with 4.88 gears at 110 km's and does it have 33"s i got 89 ranger also with 33"s and 3.73 very low in power band now it also has 2.9
