retreaded tires

i ordered a set of the mud tires for winter... AWESOME tires.... for the price how could you go wrong.. i used them this weekend at camp up at the mountains did great in the snow..

wow they're offering some big sizes now. I bought some 31s a few years ago and thats the biggest they offered at the time.

When you get them, do they come with all different sidewall markings. For example would I get 2 Dunlop, 1 BFG, and 1 Goodyear?

I haven't heard anything bad. The previous owner of Evans Explorer (his name slips my mind, J-rod was it?) had them and they lasted for quite some time. I didn't put any miles on mine so I can't speak from personal experiance.

Do a google search on hi tec retreads, you'll find alot of threads on different forums asking the same question.

it says on the site that they changed their name from hi tech to tread rite
they say you will get matching sidewalls
and you can even get molded in studs
but does anyone know of any other companys maling light truck tires
im looking for a good set of winter tires

when i got all 4 of mine they were all Michelin casing i paid about 340 for 4 tires shipped in a 31.. i paid almost 500 for my procomp a/ts so far my expierence has been pretty good.. my buddy was impressed with them an said hes going to order a set an get rid of his dunlop mud rovers.. their almost worn out an he just got them like last year

i'm very impressed with them and you can't can't beat the price

hmmm... I wonder how these would be on my truck I am working on which is also my dd. I was looking at getting new tires and these prices look good. I would like them to be decent off road tires and still good on the roads. I live in western Colorado so I have a lot of mountains and rocks not as much mud as I would like though. Any suggestions?

Don't buy from hitech retreading... everyone I know that's had them has had a sidewall fail on them.. all with different brand carcases.

J-rod13, he was a mod here back in the day. Last time I saw his old tires they weren't looking too bad. Not sure where they are, if they're at Todd's house now or what.
