re roofing a mustang isn't that bad, I did it to a rolled '95 in Boces. It came out good my only problem with it was welding inside the car in a non-air conditioned shop in 98F weather...talk about sweating your balls off....

Replacing headliners is easy. It is cloth glued to a fiber board insert. Pull the old off, and glue the new on. The reason headliners fall is because the cloth has a foam backing that is glued to the insert. The foam dries, falls apart, and the cloth sags.:)shady

Hey man, just a thought - could you just buy one of those universal sunroof kits? Most of them I have seen just require you to cut a hole in the roof, then do some minor reinforcing and drop the new glass in. This way you eliminate the rust without a new roof.

thats plan b) id really like to just get rid of the sun roof period:icon_thumby:

Another thing about cutting the roof. People perform choptop all the time. Tha's much worse that a pillar cut because you have to cut the pillars, cut the roof in quarters and remove metal. Maybe that could be an option...

not shure im going to have to think more on it
