Reserviour shocks on my ranger!

Ok i want to buy some res shocks for my 2002 Ford Ranger, it already has a Fabtech 5.5'' lift on it. The current shocks go through the springs in the front. Is there any way to use reserviour shocks with my stock shock mounts? I saw that camburg sells a 2.0 shock upgrade and it somes with upper shock mounts so they mount above the frame and lower shock mounts. Should i buy this kit? Or can I use the shocks with the stock mounts?
