a 1/2" impact works well to "torque" the outer nut too if you have one

thanks for the tip crbnunit, definitely will keep that in mind! I am planning on putting my old lift and tires I salvaged from my old truck that I rolled last year. So that bit about torquing the spindle more than a manual says will come in handy when I put the 33's back on this summer.

i bought the ball joint press from harbor frieght, i love it. and there are so many more uses for this tool other than ball and U-joints.

Awesome! Yea right now I am just saving up some money for all the parts and tools I need for this project, I will definitely pick up that ball joint press then.
