I am suspicious that this truck has a leak around the lower Transmission Oil Coolant Connector fitting (Ford # YL1Z-7D273-BA, if I have that correct).

For the real, experienced people out there (and a cheap bastd such as myself), is the connector a serviceable part or does removing render the radiator tank unusable?

I appreciate the help

I have zero experience with your particular model vehicle. But looking up replacement radiators, they all come with the fittings already in them. I take that as a hint no, they do not come out of the radiator. You can get a new radiator from rockauto for about $100 or so.

That's what I have been suspecting, yet hoping I could replace the part rather than the whole radiator.

Thanks for the reply.
