Replacement parts?

A friend of mine is getting a wreaked 1990 extended cab ranger. The engine and trans has been rebuilt, new radiator, heater core and new engagement motor on the transfer case. Hopefully the 1990 ranger has the dana 35 front and 8.8 rear. He wants 500.00 for it as is. What do you think? I'll be putting the parts on a 1987 Bronco 2.

check the doorr codes to see if it has the d35 and 8.8, also does it have the 4.0? if yes to all then buy and start swapping

No it has the 2.9. So I't probley won't have the dana 35/8.8 right?
