Replace AC Compressor?

I am preparing to replace the timing belt on my truck in a month or so and will be removing the AC compressor and hoses. My truck is a 1997 model with 425,000 miles and still has the original compressor and hoses as far as I know. I am considering replacing the compressor and hoses as preventative maintenance to avoid the need for flushing and potentially having to replace other parts of the system like the evaporator and condenser in the event that it catastrophically fails. Looking for thoughts, opinions, ideas, and anything else I should replace when/if I do this. The accumulator and orifice tube were recently replaces when the accumulator sprung a leak. Thanks!

If it is working fine, I would, myself I would not replace compressor unless you think you are going to have other problems. If I was to replace compressor, then I would replace some of the other parts that you mentionedmwhile at it. Just how I would do it myself.

I built my truck in 2018- 19 and installed a Napa reman compressor which had to be replaced when it was 2 years old for leaking. The replacement was leaking at the seam where the compressor halves join but it took me too long to locate the leak with dye and the warranty expired. Last spring I bought a new compressor from Summit then noticed "Made In China" on the box after I installed it. So far so good but my fingers are crossed. I wouldn't replace an OEM Ford compressor unless it had a problem. If you disconnect the lines, just make sure oil is added when it's evacuated and recharged.
