removed AC, what to do with wires and vacuum lines?

Well the title pretty much says it all.

I have been removing my AC components, and I just modified my blower housing and took the part out of that...

Im just wondering what is the best thing to do with the wiring?

Also, I appear to have a vacuum line that comes from the intake manifold that used to go to the AC part(at least I can't see anywhere else it could have gone to..), how should I plug that off? I assume leaving it open will cause problems on other things? (there is 3 other lines coming from the same spot on the intake manifold)

I plugged mine off with little vac caps from a local parts store. As far as the wiring, I removed most of the harness and I think only one was snipped. I used shrink tubing on those wires to keep them out of the weather and they're tucked inside of the wireloom.

I didn't know little caps existed (not surprised to hear they do though.) so I'll definitely do that for the vac line.

As for the wiring, can you elaborate on what you removed for the harness? Obviously one end is what im trying to cap off, where does the other end terminate?

To be totally honest, It was years ago and I haven't looked at it in some time! The wires I'm talking about are the plugs for the compressor, If I remember correctly. It Branched off of the main harness. If I was to do it again, I wouldn't have cut the plug. I would of done something else to keep the plug in tact but I never plan to put it back in. You should be able to get creative to cap the plug and hide in the harness loom.

If I recall correctly, I split the two wires after cutting the plug and used shrink tubing to cover each wire. Just to keep them weather proof.

I have two plugs to deal with, one went to the compressor, the other to the condensor?(Whatever is in the blower motor housing)

hmm, that definitely sounds right. They should be all that you need to isolate.

One last thing, In order to remove the compressor bracket, you have to remove the Power Steering pump. Next time I need to do a belt or something I'll be doing mine.

Haha never know when PS gonna give you problems...

I have seen people re-use their AC compressor to make an on-board air system, so until I decide whether or not I wanna try one myself I am in no hurry to remove the bracket anyways. The AC system was shot and there was no chance in hell I was fixing it, so I've just been removing whatever is easily accessable.
