good question
Hey all, I read that a 1994 ford ranger could come with a key fob locks I however don’t know if mine did or if it could of just been lost or what but anyways it’s a 1994 xlt loaded out but I don’t know if it came with a fob how would I know?

If it’s like my 95 Ranger w/ RKE you had to sit in the truck, close all the doors, and cycle the key from off to run (not start) 8 times. The last time ending with the key on. The door locks will lock and unlock letting you know it’s in program mode. Then you press a button on each remote to program them.

If it’s like the earlier RKE systems, like my 94 Explorer or ‘89 Supercoupe had, you had to insert a jumper in the open programming connector. I have no clue where it would be on a Ranger.

I know 95 and up has this feature. Looking at the 94 diagram, I don't see a RKE or antitheft module. But there are several aftermarket options that will work and they are not expensive.

It was available as a dealer installed option. Whether yours had that or not is anyone's
guess. Mine did. Yours prolly did come with the optional Power Window/Lock Group if it's loaded.
This from the 94 sales brochure:
