Most states are like that. Insurance doesn't cover anything if the insured is in the commission of a crime. Like driving drunk.

Around here the insurance will probably pay out damages to the farm, but also probably not in the amount that you'd like.

If you hit someone in PA while driving drunk, your insurance will usually pay out for it. They will also usually drop you the day after the check clears.
