I finally got my exhaust routed out the side the way I wanted it. It used to go out the back, but the tips were angled down all weird. Then when I put in the trailer hitch, they were in the way so I have been running dumped right out the muffler for the last few months. Got tired of the insane highway drone and finally decided to fix it.

I had to redo everything from the cats back to get it short enough to get in front of the tire. The muffler was too far back to just put on a bend and go out.

I like it, looking good. Nice and simple, although Im sure it took you some time.

Looks good. Did you jack up the truck by the driveshaft?!?!?

lol... he was probably using the floor jack to hold up the exhaust while he was welding on hangers. i dont think a drive shaft would take that abuse.

It almost looks like he has the jack as a secondary measure supporting the truck by the shaft. I know he couldn't lift it there. lol

Thanks guys. :icon_thumby:

The jack never touched the driveshaft, I had it to help hold up the muffler while I tacked the pieces before it took it all back out to finish welding. I don't want the kind of vibration that would come from jacking on the driveshaft.:icon_twisted: It took me all evening to cut up the old setup and re-fit the pieces to make the new one.
