Redesigned 2022 Toyota Tundra - Awesome?

The most American made fullsize truck....is a Toyota

Is that why the stock trades in Yen and they fight so hard to keep the UAW out of their plants?
There are statistics that claim to show states with no safety inspections are as safe as states with them and that's B/S, too. After doing NH inspections from 1972 until 2017 and finding serious problems the driver was unaware of, I know different. Before quick lubes, when actual mechanics serviced vehicles, some problems could be found during routine service, now forget it.

I was referring to the biscuit....2020 was a good year for toy too.. ranger got small truck....and I think it still holds it since it came back ...didn't check this year.

Toyota has done a great job building truck and cars in our country.....improving our economy.

There are twice as many idiot drivers and cars then 40 years ago and less then half of the inspection protocols and less accidents.... especially fatal....and these...including myself morons are distracted driving to no end....

So....not sure about what your getting at.

But I think I understand it as....what you don't know can kill you or others....

It happens.

Having spent a good portion of my automotive career at GM engineering... You could see the writing on the wall after the bailout. Even pre bailout the signs were there... Holden... Vauxhaul... DAT... GM India... GM brazil and GM Mexico. They had positioned themselves into Global Motors.

GM has certainly left a path of destruction in it's wake all across this country... Michigan probably the worst hit early and continuously. I'm glad I got out when I did. I honestly didn't think my position was secure enough to make it to retirement.

Did you know Larry Drake?

A ridgeline isn't a truck, trucks have frames. The ridgeline, Maverick, and others like them are more like a Ranchero.

I like the new design. I'd probably buy one if dealers weren't so greedy, some in CA are listed for $15k above sticker, though I haven't actually shopped them. Toyota is already proud enough without the markup. My 2021 Ranger seems like such a steal in this market.

I haven’t been real crazy about a lot of the new styling put on trucks now. I haven’t found any of them to look all that great the last few years. It seems everyone is trying to out do everyone else in how over the top they can get.

Wait til tesla's "truck" hits the road. Fookin LOL!!

I’m really considering a Tundra SR if I go the truck route instead of sedan. The only thing it’s competing against is an F150. I think it’s a matter of cab size. If I opt for the crew cab, F150 wins cause Toyota only offers a 5.5’ bed with the crew cab in the SR trim.

Wow. Gm really sucks now

Gm ...

Fawk gm......

I am more worried about Congress when it comes to getting sold out.
