Just rebuilt Transmission (97 Ranger 3.0) myself and installed it and its not working. One problem is the shift selector is not working correctly. seems like the positions are wrong. It goes into reverse but when I put it into drive it seems like its trying to move when I give it gas. I didn't replace any selenoid's . original problem was no third gear. that's why I took it out to rebuild.
