My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
Me: so Tiana and I were walking through the winnco parking lot and she has a geekgasm over a starwars sticker on a car. I said "you know, when you guys were kids we didn't force our religion on you because we wanted to to make up your own minds. We raised you right, gave you all the available information, hope you make the right choices"

Strange woman smiles and says you're talking about Jesus. I said no, Star Trek over Starwars......
*later at home I am telling this story*
Siera: so what are we
Me: we are a Star Trek house
Siera: but I like Starwars
Me: It's ok, not everybody is the same religion
Siera:

Siera: I also like Chevy

Actually she wants a vintage Volkswagen Beetle

Buddy of mine back in the 80s had one of the Vans, didnt they run the same drivetrain?

All i remember is it was dead nuts reliable, but also was one of the very few vehicles my 78 LUV would beat to 60

Had bigger engines than the cars, I think the transmissions were similar but different too.

My brother had a '68 VW bug, neat car but the defrost sucked even with extra electric blowers and new heat exchangers.

It's OK BDAB, we all have to Klingon to our beliefs.

Could be worse she could want one of those Fiat made golf carts.

Fiat 500?

I looked at one of those when they first came out. Nice looking car, but the back seat was useless (I couldn't fit back there, and I'm not tall), and the trunk (luggage space) wouldn't hold our luggage for a weekend trip, let alone a month's worth of groceries.

They also have electrical issues.......
