Rear uppuer shock mounts

Hope someone has some goods ideas, I have a 93 ranger 4x4 and I was trying to change my rear shocks and broke off the upper mount stud, any one else ever do this and if so what was your fix? Any imput would be great.

Drill into the end of the stud and tap the hole. Use a small bolt to fit with the hole and a fender washer.

i got a set of replacment studs from rancho when i got the new shocks. I didnt use them tho.

Thanks, I think I'll try drilling out the old stud and go from there.
