Just bought a 97 regular cab 4x4 to use gettin back and forth to work. Bought a new set of shocks and when i crawled under to change the rear the whole upper mount is rusted away. Was lookin for a simple fix and was gonna see if anybody else had done it. There is a hole in the frame just a little forward of the old mount. Its in the center of the rail. Looks to me as if you could get a bolt and some nuts and washers and use that hole as a mount with the bolt. Anybody else done this? Checked around sevral places online and they are out of those replacement mounts.
