So I went to sit on my tailgate and drink a beer and when I sat I felt like I bottomed out. I just changed my shocks, but Me, weighing 200 lbs should not "bottom out" my truck!!! Are my leafs shit?

Is it your leafs or are your perches bad. Even a leaf pack will still hold some load if 1 or 2 leafs are broke.

When my truck snapped a leaf I was basically using one leaf and the bottom plate and it still held up some weight. Do you feel a lot of axle wrap when you drive your truck? because that's what mine did before the spring went.

I guess they are 4 leaf packs. 3 with that flat one on the bottom. What are the perches?

Look at the back of the springs. There should be a shackle and that is connected to the perch. Either or could be rusted out and causing your problem. If it is either Ford still carries them as does Rock Auto. Rock Auto is a little cheaper.

go find some explorer leaf springs and put them in there

not all of them find a 4 spring pack tho that is what i have in my truck

Get them from a 4 door explorer and they will be 4 leaf packs.

BTW.... a spring perch is welded to the axle tube. The shackle is connected to the frame with a shackle hanger.

Some people call it different things. I call it a spring/shackle perch on the frame.
