I have a 94 ranger 4x4 4.0l stick shift.
Doing my fall walk around Saturday checking lights and found that my hazard lights in the rear ONLY are not working the front are flashing.
I do have red clear amber lenses in the rear.
The turn signals work fine.
I know that it could be a broken wire and or a bad connection but where can I start looking.
Please keep in mind I'm 62 years old and working on asphalt on the side of the road.
It is my daily driver so I can't down the truck to work on it.
Thank you for your help.

The turnsignals and the hazards use the same wires and the same bulbs. It gets switched around in the hazard/turnsignal switch. The flasher is common to the front and the rear. So it's got to be the hazard/turn switch. Take the hazard button and turn it on and off rapidly about 10 times,, and then see if they start working. Sometimes the switch gets dirt in it.
