Rear Bumper Interchangeability

I've got a '90 Ranger 2.9L V6 that needs a new rear bumper. Found a bumper from an '89 online - will it fit my 1990? The frame looks reasonably similar but just want to make sure before I drop bucks. Any help appreciated

Im almost positive it will. I built a welded trailer hitch for my ‘93 and it used the bumper mounting holes, later it wound up on a ‘92 truck and the holes lined up just fine. A ‘89 & ‘90 are both generation 2 trucks, so it should be the same.
