Ranger tough truck racer

Where was that at? That was the strangest ruff truck track ive ever seen, but then again Ive only watched it at knox county, hartford, and muskingum. All of them have a washboard, couple small jumps, sharp turns, then a straight away with a huge jump at the end. Never seen one that straight before.

Thats coshocton it was only half the size as normal but still the roughest track aroumd. They brake more trucks than finish. Knox is wide open and designed foguys like ray scoles in the trail city truck, as is alot of tracks these days. my vid isnt very detailed but there was no stright about that track, i.stead of big tigt turns they wiggled us left and right I just hit the jumps at angles to line up better.

Managed a 1st in my class tonight. I screwed up again but 90& of everyone did. It thunderstormed and poured right before we started and the tracks mostly clay so it is was SLICK. I didnt make a turn and had to back up but still $125 and a big trophy so I'll take it. I need to get some more wieght on the rear cuase it noses, but even so it lands really smooth.

Me n the fair director with my trpohy. This pic will be in the paper in the next day or so

Good for you!
My truck does the same bucking over bumps. My thought so far is to take out a leaf and go to single shock, I was running duals on the rear. I haven't had a chance to test my theory out yet.
Have you had any overheating problems?
Keep it shiny side up,

Richard

I just need to ad some more weight to the rear and tt should solve my issue.

It cools really good, ive nothad to kick the fan on yet.

No video of Mondays race but I ended up with a 5th place finish.

Yesterday I took 3rd out of around 90 (pic is a vid, you jus thave to click it)

Saw ya run. Hell of a show you put on! I hate how tight hartford makes the turns but you figured her out. Your rig was parked right next to my buddies. I was lookin for ya but I didnt see anyone around your truck when I was over there. My buddies dad was the one drivin the black ranger that rolled were you almost lost it. He pushed his back over from the driver seat and finished. I think he had a little adrenaline goin at the time.

I talked to your buddy for awhile. He had to argue with the offical to keep me in the stock class. They tried to put me in mod based on the fact I had an enclosed interior and a full cage. They had to pull the rule book to prove to me I was mod, which back fired on them.

Just a blurp from the artical.

"For Donnie Chambers, of Roseville, his interest has only grown throughout the years.

"I started about five or six years ago, but I've watched it for years and have been into things like four-wheeling and mud bogging since I was old enough to drive," he said. "This year I built my truck from scratch, working on it all winter."

Chambers races with a 1988 Ford Ranger named after the website he created when he was 13 years old, OffRoadOhio.com.

He said he's participated in about 20 races this year, winning almost $500. While the cash prize is a motivating incentive, that's not why Chambers races.

"I don't care about placing or the money," he said. "As long as I can hear the crowd cheering for me from inside my truck, that's what it's all about."

Althought it SHOULD say I PLAN to participate in about 20 races this year, not HAVE participated in
