Ranger suspension saved my life!

Took out a tree that had fallen across the road on my way home in my toy. Luckily the 33's and the 6" suspension lift put my bumper over the tree so the tires, mainly the right front, took the impact. sent me at least 8 ft airbourne and landed half of my truck safely on the other side. I say half because the back bumper was still on a tree limb 8ft off the ground!

Gee, now you get to fix it. That is so cool for your wallet. I guess you did not report it or no cops came?? How come you did not see the tree??

curve and 2 am yeah reported it but liability only. Looks like mainly the steering components and a few lift and shocks which i was replacing anyway, but yeah 4 wheeldrives always spending money!

It's good you're okay. No frame damage? You bend the beams or radius arms? It seems a bumper to tree hit would have been worst case. I ran over a tree with my pop's F150 under similar circumstances, though it must have been like just a branch off the tree you hit. I just bent a rim, took out the exhaust, and bent a little sheet metal on a guard rail.

And look on the bright side.....liability-only saved you a lot of cash over "complete coverage"....you'll probably break even in the long run....
