ohh so brake cleaner isnt gonna harm the diferential?(more than the fact im gonna weld it i guess not)
ok im gonna do as u say
and yeah i saw the pics, thanks a lot :icon_thumby:

but what i need is bars, barks would be a bit annoying:icon_twisted: :icon_rofl:

Haha whoops. The K isn't even anywhere near the R or the S. Wtf was I doing:icon_rofl:

Yep when you use the Brake Cleaner use a lot of it and just give it a lot of time to drain out and even use and air compressor to force it out of the cracks and such. Prep work will make this job go a lot better.

yeah sometimes my keyboard likes to move letters without letting me know too :icon_rofl:

and if i use the cleaner and leave it really clean i might be able to weld it without pulling out the carrier :icon_idea:
u know for any other stuff that would work for cleaning besides brake cleaner?
diesel maybe? and i believe the diferential uses the same ATF fluid as the transmission?

No, gear oil is it's own animal. 75W90 in the back of our Ranger's IIRC. You could also use carb cleaner too. It's always nice to find something pressurized that can blast into crevises and evaporates quick.

Yeah I don't want you to blow yourself up so if you have it in a garage where sh*t won't get in it; Clean it out well, hit it with the compressor and let it sit for a while. Just better safe than sorry.

engine degreaser, and some laquer thinner.

ive welded after using laquer thinner, it wont hurt ya.

just let it dry out, sparks and laquer really like eachother.

Don't do nerf bars......... they look gay on a Ranger, and they will get the crap beat out of them.

I suggest a small step....... just a little single step if you really need it to get in.
make sure it's black.

You also have the black and white theme going on and then that "CHROME" (HELLO I"M FREAKING CHROME) bull bar..... i think it would flow better black, but that's just me.

I love your truck RSH, I'd like to see you do an SAS or just a 4x4 swap one day.... I know you could handle it.

I think it's great your mom has a Ranger too (but yours looks like it would kick your mom's rangers @$$)

So really...... being a rich farmer like yourself in Honduras, how does the FORD RANGER do for picking up the ladies????? I know you have got to be pulling all kinds of hot, naturally tanned chicks that want to touch your mustang shifter.
