Ranger saves the day again

UPDATE: so all 4 cylinders were full. without plugs that thing makes one heck of a squirt gun. it cranks fine but the distributor is soaked. (thats why it stalled) the engine oil was topped up to full with water and the transmission was full. the front dif had no air in it and theres an inch of mud on the floorboards. the intake is off and everything is drying out. the engine filled through an exhaust leak.

oh and the truck was in the water for a good 30 minutes before it got pulled out. it took us 10 to get the rescue rig down there. about 5 to get it out, tied to a toyota. add driving time and difference of opinion, and you have 30 minutes.

:)

can you post pics of the taco truck out of the water plase, you got me cuirous as to what it looks like not submerged LOL, becuase with the much lift and tires the hole must have been DEEP

always remind him that you saved his ass one night and he owes you one pull and/or a case of beer if you feel the need

Ha. Looked like fun!

I wanna try that same hole now.

he is about 6 feet tall. 31" tires, 4 inch body 2 inch suspension.

did he think his truck was half submarine or is he really that lacking in common sense???

He told her they were going TO the submarine races, not intending to participate in the underwater diving portion of course. :icon_rofl:

its funny. it was harder going forward in there then it was going backwards out with a toyota in tow.

for the record, this is because you have already cut a path through the slop under the water. its the same reason that when you get stuck you can almost always back out the way you came. and if you are unsure whether you can get someone else out, always pull them out the way they came, they've already cleared that path.

your a good friend man nice work

That is epic. If I ever get around to lifting and manual hubbing my sploder, maybe I can pull something more than my motorcycle's trailer....
