yes,they do seem to rust out right there a lot.If you can get a unit from ebay from one of the dryer states it would be good.are you saying the line is corroded in the tank?It must of set for a while with little or no gas in the tank and water in it.Just pull your clips off the frame and put grade 5 nuts and bolts in it
