i have a 85 rangeer,i know it is a xlt,but on the box near the rear it had "explorer" .Is the explorer originalor did somebody add it on?

original, the explorer package didn't last very long.

The explorer packages that I have seen did have some cool pinstriping though. I think it was available on f150's too. Like in the 70's. Either way, its long gone now, except for the current Explorer of course.
