ranger longbed trailer

Yeah but the bad news is the left side could in theroy lose the nut and therefore the hub/wheel with it. They snapped on good and are filled with grease. Shouldnt ever have to be took apart.

Did a lot today, maybe too much. Sure feeling it. Transferred the ‘glass cap to the ranger (I swear it weighs more every time) , put the aluminum cap on the ranger trailer. Moved it with the mower, didn’t like the angle with it hitched up, decided to move the axle to below the springs, seems to be better now. Couldnt fit my axle mounted coil helpers with it being a “spring under”, can now- but not today.

I was wondering if spring under axle was going to give you issues or not. Since you didn't ask, and had already did the work, I didn't offer my opinion. Not that my opinion worth much anyway. LOL

Sometimes you just gotta try it and see. I thought I might have issues when I used the tounge jack to level it and I had it all the way lowered to the stop and toungue was still a little high. Hooked up to the back of my lawn mower the back bumper was less than 6” from the ground. It was pretty easy to change, I wasnt sure it would work until I moved it, today was the day for that. Ive yet to pull it down the road behind a vehicle since the axle change, been almost a year since Ive had it out of the driveway.

I have had it down the road just once since the axle change, aside from that the ranger trailer mostly sits near the road in the yard with a mini-fridge in it as a egg sales cart. May make something different since the ranger trailer will now be my “truck “ along with my 4cyl escape as a tow vehicle.

Ugly, ugly wheels on it right now, temporary spares from the escapes. Still in use as my point-of-sale egg trailer. Fridge in the back, cash box screwed to the bed floor. Back cap door damaged by high winds a few months back & is no longer there.
