Ranger lift kit?

I have some 2in. skyjacker coils(132X) and 2in. blocks if interested, but you may need drop brackets for proper alignment, they lifted my truck too high without drop brackets to align

It is a really common way to do it.

Ford did it but with one big hunk of cast iron in the 2wd F-150's. Welded together decently the washers are not going anywhere.

You will never see it done on TV because it is a market washer companies haven't really started pushing yet. The regular lift kit companies pay the TV shows to promote their stuff a lot better.

Sorry, but it is not the correct way even with welding. This has been discussed a lot on this site. I would never buy any vehicle with a washer lift. I saw one out in Utah last year at Moab and the truck was a beauty and for sale. As soon as several of us saw the washers lift we laughed and walked away. Poor Mans lift. You guys on this site are better then this. Just be careful of what you do. I have seen welded washers break loose and cause horrible accidents. Safety should first on all of our minds, guys. Like I said...no 4x4 shop here in Florida will do this or recomend using washers as a lift. You can buy steel or aluminum spacers that are safe and not very expensive.
