Well, its an old 1968 Ford F100 with a lift and large wheels!

I am making it for my friend Andy Catherman.

It started out as a simple cutout I made from scrapwood (mostly Pine).

I then started shaping the truck and cut a front end, and then cut the bed off and carved lights for the front end.

Following that, I took an image today of what I have made for it so far, I just started yesterday on the tire rack, so its not done, might redo it even. There is a spare that goes on it too, and the wheels are designed to move with a suspension type free-turn.

Nice! Looks good, I bet you could make a 4 year old's day with that thing.

That makes me laugh, have you ever fabricated wooden parts to fix your truck?

are you going to carve the tires as well?

Was a thought, but then I have to remember when it warms up, we start cutting logs at the sawmill, so once this truck is done, probably next week, I will start on making a few hall tree's

I am temped to make another, but I dont have the time this year, I made one for adsm08 as a housewarming/get going (he knows) gift.

That's something i've never had the patients for is wood working. Look good so far dude. I'm going out on a limb and going to assume you are at work or at school due to the MSDS book on the work bench.

Yeah, Im at school, I still need a bandsaw and a drill press at home to do this, I have a radial saw that needs a new motor too (or just recoiled)

That's awesome man! Every time I try to make something out of wood, I destroy it. Ha ha

Good work!
